Respected Sir, I am studying in class 11th and at the same time I want to pursue B.Sc Agriculture so I want to know can I pursue B.Sc Agriculture while studying in class 11th? What is the procedure to get admission? Please answer as soon as possible.

B.Sc Agriculture is four year bachelor degree course and candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted by various universities/colleges for admission in course.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is that candidate must have passed 12th or appearing for board examination with PCM/PCB as main paper.

The admission in course is offered on the basis of entrance examination.

B.Sc in Agriculture refers to Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course of three years having good career scope in country like India which is a agro-based country.

Further the minimum educational qualification required for pursuing the same course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology/ Agriculture as main subjects from a recognized board of education.

Now as far as you are concerned about pursuing B.Sc in Agriculture degree course while pursuing your Class 11th then it is not possible as you cannot pursue two regular degree course at the same time. But once you complete your Class 12th with above mentioned subject you can pursue the same degree course.

You can not pursue Bachelor of Science in Agriculture while studying in standard 11th. The minimum qualification required to pursue B.Sc in Agriculture is 12th passed or appearing for board examination of 10+2. Candidates from both subject group PCM/PCB are eligible for this course.

ICAR conducts AIEEA which stands for All India Entrance Examination for admission in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. You can apply for this entrance examination next year when you will appear for your board examinations. Minimum age limit to apply for exam is 17 years and minimum percentage of marks in 12th is 45%.

No, it is not possible to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture course while studying 11th standard. To be eligible to get admission for pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a Government recognized board. Admissions in B.Sc. Agriculture course are done through entrance examination conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board or through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks. Since, you have not pursued your 12th standard, you are not eligible to get admission for pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture course.

11th standard candidates are not eligible for B.Sc in Agriculture. The eligibility criteria for Indian Council of Agriculture Research All Indian Entrance Exam for Admission for admission in B.Sc in Agriculture is:

1. You should have done 10+2 or appearing for board exams.

2. Minimum age is 17 years.

3. Both biology and mathematics stream candidates are eligible for B.Sc in Agriculture.

4. You should have at least 45% marks in 12th board exams.

On basis of your rank in ICAR AIEEA, you can get admission in B.Sc in Agriculture in any college.

You can not pursue Bachelor of Science in Agriculture while studying in 11th standard. The eligibility criteria for ICAR AIEEA is:

Academic Qualification: 10+2 passed or appearing from recognized board. You can apply for AIEEA in next year.

Age limit is 17-25 years.

You can apply for this exam and clear it to get admission in B.Sc in Agriculture course. To apply for exam, at least 50% marks in board exam is required.
