good evening!
sir i am presently in 6th semester of diploma in information technology under himachal technical board , sir now i wanted to change my branch for b tech. sir i want to do my b tech. in civil branch. So i want to ask you that can i change my branch in btech.

sir what will be the procedure for getting adsmission through lateral entry in civil branch in any college under himachal university. sir can i change my branch or not??????

As far as I know there is no way to change stream from IT to Civil engineering at Lateral entry admission.Stream change only possible to related linking streams only,like Mechanical engineering to Production engg,Electrical engg to power engg.,CS to IT or Software engineering etc etc.

Dear,

You can not change your stream as you are from I.T.
so you can not go for the B.Tech. in Civil Engineering

It is possible in KIIT, BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA, but for that you had to attend KIITEE 2011.
