Re: Can a Science candidate be eligible for CAT? How to crack CAT Exam?
Yes, science students are eligible for CAT....actually students from any stream is eligible for CAT.
The only educational criteria required to apply for CAT is a graduation degree in any field from any recognized university. The graduation marks does not matter even, and not the age! CAT is conducted by IIMs, the Class A B-schools in India... It is very tough to crack CAT, you have to secure 99% in CAT to get admission in IIMs. The entrance exam marks matter only... So you have to work very hard because cracking those entrance exams are very tough specially CAT which is considered as the most toughest management entrance exam in India. It is better to join a good coaching center nearby your locality...because I think self study is not enough to crack CAT. So prepare for CAT with full dedication to study MBA. All the best..... |

whats your doubt??? you are asking about ca or cat??
well i would tell you about both of the things.. CA stands for chartered accountant.. being a science student you cant appear for ca exam.. because only a commerce student can appear for it.. and CAT is the common admission test.. any student being a graduate in any field is eligible to appear in the cat exam... CAT exam is for further studies in management... there is lot of difference between the two.. be sure about what do you want to ask... |
