i am j michael marshall of andhra pradesh . I have a zeal to study engineering in karnataka.my question is can the students of other states write kcet? If yes,how to get the application form of kcet?

No my friend you can not fill the forms of KCET unless you have studied your last 4 years in Karnataka or you are a domicile of Karnataka.
But you can secure admission in colleges of Karnataka by writing the entrance of COMEDK
which is usually written by the students belonging to other state and its one of the easier exams compared to other entrance exams and can be cracked if you study well and thereby secure a seat in one of the top institutions of Karnataka.GOOD LUCK.

KCET 2012: Reservation of seats

For Karnatka students:

100% seats reserved in Government colleges ( Based on KCET 2012 score )
95% seats reserved in Aided colleges ( Based on KCET 2012 score )
50% seats reserved in Private Un-Aided colleges for Non-Minority ( Based on KCET 2012 score )
45% seats reserved in Private Un-Aided colleges for Minority ( Based on KCET 2012 score )

The application form is available from the participating institutes of Karnataka CET. One can directly purchase the form with the cash payment. The candidates can also get the form by sending a request letter to the examination body along with the DD for the application form from the nationalized bank.
