Yeah medical coding has a bright future. If u complete certification like CPC provided by company while On job training (OJT) den ur salary will be on hourly basis depend upon ur skill set. Initial salary in OJT is 6500(India). Try for omega Healthcare near murgeshpalya, domlur, B'lore, HAL, wind tunnel road. They hiring life science graduates like bsc(botony, zoology,), dpharm, bpharm, mpharm, nursing, bams.,bums.,bahms. Once u complete ur training with experience of 2 or more years, if u try job in USA, salary will be 35 k to 55k in dollars (neurospeciality up to 67 k in $).

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook from 2014 to 2024 for medical records and health information technician is 15%. Much higher than the national average of 7%. This data show how fast the field is growing compared to others and the number of opportunities graduates will have with the right training.
