i just finished giving my 10th board exams and i will be taking PCBM in my 11th and 12th standard as i want to do genetic engineering.please tell me what entrance examinations will i have to give an order to go to a college? a well reputed and a good college!!...i would not mind going abroad. what other steps are to be taken?

if you want to take admission in the genetic engineering.
then you have to give the exam of AIEEE /IIT JEE/OTHER ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAM...then after you can choose the college for the genetic engineering.
some iit is very good for the genetic engineering.
apart from the iit...nit as well as other college also provides such course.

Most institutes do not offer courses in Genetic Engineering as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry streams. Genetics is offered at the undergraduate level, at:

1.Kakatiya University,
2.Warangal and Osmania University, Hyderabad, both in Andhra Pradesh.


Some of the universities which offer genetic Engineering courses at postgraduate and doctorate levels are:
