Re: Which colleges I can get admission with a rank of 194662 in EAMCET?
With this rank it's hard to get into a good Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh but the seat allotment mainly depends upon your reservation.
If your a General category student then you have less options to get a seat even in the least preferred branch of Engineering. You have a chance to get into a Engineering college which will be established in the year 2011 else the Engineering college which is established in the previous year.Instead of studying in this colleges it will be better that you go through the Management quota. If your a SC/ST/BC-B category then you have a good chance to secure a seat in an average or better Engineering college because the respected reservation for each category is 15% for SC,6% to ST and 10% to BC-B i.e the respected reservation is each course in each Institution will be reserved for them but since your rank is below the 1,50,00 hence finding out a better college is a bit tough. But if you belong to BC/SC/ST then definitely you will get a seat in some college. SC and ST candidates will definitely secure a seat in a better college with this rank but Gen category students are even out the reach of securing a seat. Please visit the following site for more details http://apeamcet.nic.in/ |
