Is it compulsory to do PGDBF after MBA Finance to get job in public sector banks?

Hello Sir/Mam, I am MBA post graduate in Finance and Marketing. I have got selected in a public sector bank but would be placed only after doing PGDBF course. Will they directly take me to internship by considering MBA degree only?

For employment in public sector banks , one needs to appear for a banking exam .
These exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and State Bank of India.
MBA graduates can apply for a number of jobs in public sector banks.
MBA finance, MBA marketing or PGDM is the highly opted course if one is keen on getting in to a bank.
Thus you have to apply for competitive exam and clear it to get job in banks.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
