Sir, I Sk Nayim Ali from West Bengal and I have OBC (A) (Minority community) certificate under West Bengal State Govt. I applied for Executive (E-1) post as a OBC candidate after getting confirmation from ONGC, Kolkata office. I asked to the Officer of ONGC, Kolkata that can I apply as OBC for E-1 post? He told me that there is no problem between OBC (A) and OBC and you can apply. Now my question is that my application is correct or not? If not correct then please tell me the process for shifting from OBC to General?

OBC certificate it self tells that we belong to Other Backward Castes, which includes BC-A,BC-B,BC-C etc, so there is no problem with it, and your application procedure is prefect
