Re: Which course is better after BBM(IB) : ICWA or CS?
HI!
Both CS & ICWAI are courses are equally good. They offer bright future prospect with handsome salary. You are doing BBM then why don't you go for MBA. I don't understand why do you want to change your field. LLB, BBM, ICWAI or CS all are totally different & unrelated course. If you are not interested in doing MBA & planning to do LLB it's ok. But then why are you thinking of doing ICWAI or CS? You can not sail on two boats simultaneously. All are professional courses & it is not easy to study any of the 2 courses simultaneously. My opinion is to select any 1 of the course depending up on your interest, knowledge & skill. And devote your full time to the course so selected. |

Friends both the courses have its own importance.
But i would suggest you to go for CS Company Secretary job is not only a professional but also a financially paid job. In this position you need to act as the mediator between the compnay and board of directors, shareholders, government and regulating authoritties. You have to guide the chairman and other directors in such a way that their responsibilities are being fully utilized. The admission will be through 3 levels All the best. |

Re: Which course is better after BBM(IB) : ICWA or CS?
dear friend
According to me, Both of the courses are different from each other by every aspect and it will also depends on your aptitude and willingness. If you have a command in Finance, then ICWA is the best option for you because ICWA is more advanced and high professional when compared to CS. In now a days the scenario of Cost Accountant are much wider than company secretary. So, according to me ICWA is the best choice than CS. And you will get more salary after completing ICWA as compared to CA. So, please focus on ICWA, if you really want to make your career in accounting field. Otherwise choose field according to your ablity and interest. Rahul k |

Re: Which course is better after BBM(IB) : ICWA or CS?
Both the courses are good in their own way. By pursuing a course in company secretary you will be required to learn the legal aspects which the companies are required to follow. On the hand a course in ICWA is more into the accounting side. You need to decide based on what your interests are.

Re: Which course is better after BBM(IB) : ICWA or CS?
I think ICWA is a better option compared to CS,
ICWA is based upon the accounts and finance,so if you have a grip in the subject then its well and good. CS is all about professionalism whose role is to corporate set up and advising in legal matters of the company. All the best, its up to you to decide. |

Re: Which course is better after BBM(IB) : ICWA or CS?
Hi there pal, both ICWAI AND CS are very good course and i am doing ICWAI & CS final simultaneously. ICWAI is vetter than CS because the demand after latest AMENDMEND made by government boosted the prospect of cost accountant. CS is too is a good course, you can choose between these two's. Both require same attention and hardworking. As my friend suggest already, if you are strong in theory than go with CS and if you are strongin accounting and costing than go with ICWAI.
REMEMBER ICWAI has most MOU with foreign institute like CIMA,IMA and many more. You can get these degree after completion of ICWAI final. Take care and best of luck. |
