I just want to know till what age a candidate can apply for this cs course?

There is a minimum age requirement of 17 years. However there is no maximum age limit. To pursue this course it is a must to have completed at least 12th standard. Depending on the qualification the candidate can join in for the course at the level required. Like for graduates the candidate can join directly for the second level i.e. intermediate level.

There is no age limit to pursue company secretary course. The minimum educational qualification required is +2. After +2, you may enroll for the Foundation Program which is followed by Executive Program and Professional Program. If you are a graduate, you may enroll for the Executive Program.
The institute do not conduct any entrance exam for the course.
After qualifying the Professional Program, the candidate has to undergo Management training for a period of 15 months. Within this training program, the candidate has to undergo practical training in a CS firm.
Apart from this, the candidate has to go for another training of 15 days in registrar of company, Affiliated stock exchange, SEBI etc.
The one who completes all these training program, along with the the foundation, executive and professional program, are eligible to become an associate member of ICSI.

The last date of registration is 28th of February to appear in the examination conducted same year in the month of December and 31st of August for the examination conducted next year in the month of June.

There is no such age limit. But early is always good, and aged is always worth.

Usually an aged CS, has more scope for higher positions in Companies, with higher salary.

There are CS who has qualified in their 40's & 50's !

So dont worry, age is not a bar !

There is no fixed age limit for CS course,
you need to be a graduate to directly enrol in
intermediate level course ,
then after clearing intermediate level you can go
for professional (executive level) course.
CS get very good salaries in the range of 6-25 lakhs

Graduates Or Post-Graduates In Commerce, Or Any Other Discipline Except Fine Arts, Are Allowed To Skip The Foundation Course And Enrolled Directly For The Intermediate Examination.

If you are considering of doing Btech, then minimum requirement is 12th passes and 17 yrs old.

It has similar reqirement as that for graduation courses, but requirement also depend on which college you are to take admission.

There is no maximum age limit for CS course.

So company secretary course transforms you into modern corporate professionals.But if your age is above 30 then you can easily learn the course from your experience also.So no need to worry about age.

There is no age limit to pursue C.S. course under Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI), an autonomous body constituted by the Government of India. You can either go in employment or set up your own practice in C.S.


Eligibility :-
If you are a 10+2pass/appearing candidate you are eligible for admission in C.S. Foundation Course.
If you are a graduate in any discipline - Science, Arts, Commerce (except Fine Arts). you are eligible for direct registration in C.S. Executive Program.


Course Content And Methodology :-
The course is divided into three parts - Foundation, Executive and Professional Program, comprising of 4, 6 and 8 papers respectively. The subject matter of the course consists of Law, Taxation, Management and Accounts.
C.S. course is basically conducted in a distance learning mode, thus can be pursued from anywhere in India. However, the facility of oral coaching classes are also available in various cities given below in India. Examinations are held twice in a year in June and December.

Admission / Registration-
Admission and Registration procedure is very simple. It is open throughout the year and can be done by filling up a simple form and submitting attested copies of your testimonials along with a prescribed fee.
However, Executive Program students can take their first exam only 9 months after registration and Foundation students can take it after 8 months. Thus for Executive Program students, it is advisable to get registered before 31st August/ 28th February so as to become eligible for appearing in June/ December exams respectively.
Likewise Foundation students should get registered before 30th September/ 31st March to be eligible for appearing in June/December exams respectively.

The eligibility criteria for CS course -

1.Graduation grom any recognized university.
2.Age limit = lower limit 17 years and no upper age limit .

The exam is conducted in three stages -primary stage, intermediate and final .
The B.Com and BA candidates who has at lest 55% in graduation can apply directly for the intermediate stage.

As to be eligible for the CS executive level examination, candidates need to have passed in the CS foundation course. Candidates from arts, science or commerce field is eligible to apply for the CS executive program. The age of the candidate must not be less than 17 years of age. More over candidates who have a degree or masters in corporate secretary ship or commerce need not have to pass the CS foundation course. They can directly apply for the CS executive program. Also candidates who have passed the final exam in ICWAI or ICAI also need not pass the CS foundation..

ELIGIBILITY : Graduation.
Age limit : not less than 17 yrs.
Masters degree in commerce is prefered the most.

Examinations are held twice a year in June & December.

Company secretary salary largly depends upon the abilities of the person himself and the campany he is working with. On an average a newly appointed compnay secretary can get neraly Rs.4,00,000 to Rs. 5,00,000 per years. Those with abilites and some experience can get more than double this initial amount.

I am 53 years old, enrolled for CS executive program but could not appear for exam, my last date of admission is July 2016. In the new admission criteria I read that age limit is 29. Is it true? Also are the board still require model answers to be submitted for writing exams which was a pre-qualification for writing exam. Appreciate if anyone can correct answers to above.

CS Stands for Company secretary course which is conducted by ICSI Every year. The minimum eligibility for the course is 12th Class pass and the minimum age is 17 years. However there is no age upper age limit and you can go for the course whenever you want. If you are a graduate then you can go for the course with admission directly in Inter level
