dear friend
after b.tech in civil i will suggest you to go for M.TECH. firstly you will stay in your own line. it will give you more salary , status and job satisfaction. further you can go for research in this field. if you will join MBA your field will be totally changed. all the best. |

Well civil engineers can get jobs in both the public sectors and private sectors.
But if you want to opt for higher education then you can either go for M.Tech or MBA. For engineers its better to go for M.Tech as this will allow you to study your subject in depth. But if management sectors appears lucrative then MBA can be a good option too. So the choice is yours. Choose wisely. all the best |

M.Tech is a good option available to you. You can choose from the various specialisations like Construction Management, Structural Engineering etc. It is apt for those wishing to make a career in technical field. Other than this MBA too is a good option. Those interested in making a career in management field will find it helpful in making a career of their choice. Even short term courses like CAD, STAADPro will be useful.
