Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
there are mainly two courses that are
M.tech or MBA MBA : Masters in Business Administration M.Tech: Masters in Technology Both are Master degrees in two important fields one in technology and the other in Business Both are equally important for the development of country. Both are very highly regarded in the society coming to your career if you select MBA or M.tech after your Bachelors then your job opportunities are more than a student with the bachelors degree For that reason most of the students do their M.tech or M.B.A after their bachelors and some do for their pleasure And doing masters will also fetch for research work research which is key for the development of the field can be done with masters only so selecting Masters degree in Business or Technology depends on your interest if you have a good core subject knowledge of your bachelors in engineering then go with M.tech or if you are exceptionally interested with your core subjects don't miss an opportunity for the country a precious diamond if you are very much attracted to business then it will be good option for your career and also for your job prospectus MBA jobs pay higher to you than M.tech Jobs Before taking a decision think twice all the best Regards ~AdityA~ |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
I accept the two main options chosen by the present EEE Graduates are M.Tech and MBA.But,you even have many options in the Job Sector mainly in the core companies like NTPC,BHEL,Steel Plants..etc.
For PSU's you can go through the following site PSU Jobs-click here You can choose the course based on your interests and future plans and how to settle down and in which sector. If your really interested to settle down in the EEE Core Company Sector then M.tech will be the best choice.M.Tech is all about specialization in a subject which you have gone through in your Engineering course. This course will really help you to settle down in the core sector. For getting selected in this sector you need to go through the GATE Examination.Since, your a EEE Graduate hence in M.Tech there are many specializations like VLSI Design,Power Electronics,Electrical Machines,Power Systems..etc MBA will only be a good option if a bit of touch in the Business Sector.Like the M.Tech course even MBA has many courses to offer like Finance,Human Resource,Marketing..etc.You need to choose any one of the courses in these so it totally depends on you to choose the course. You can go through the Engineering Service Exam conducted by the UPSC and even some of the Electrical Jobs offered by the Indian Navy. |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
To do post graduation course in India for B.tech, you have two course, that you can appear for entrance exam or you can get admission directly in normal colleges by paying extra money.
If you are interest in doing post graduation same as from previous background education, then you have M.tech course. To get admission in top Engineering colleges, you have to qualify Gate exam. This exam notification will release in the month of September every year. And exam will be held after 3 months i.e January. If you are interest in doing post graduation in Management, then you have MBA course. To get admission in top Management Colleges, you should appear for CAT/MAT exam. This exam will fall in the month December every year. |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
dear friend,
After completion of B.tech in electrical engineering , you can go for courses like- 1.M.tech- If you have interest in technical field, and you want to gather more knowledge in your field, then you can go for M.tech course. For that you have to appear in GATE exam..After qualifying in GATE exam you will get a chance to take admission in M.tech..After completion of M.tech you can get a job in a core field. 2.MBA- If you wants to go in separate line, and you have interest in management field, then you can go for MBA course.. For that you have to appear in CAT , MAT, XAT exam.. After clearing the exam you have to go through the interview session.. If you able to clear the exam, then you will get a chance to take admission in MBA course. You can go for any of these course.. Both the courses has bright future prospect.. All the best. |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
For doing MBA first of all you have to be graduate. It can be in any stream.
You can opt for B.sc.B.A,B.Com,BBA or if u also want to have tecnical knowledge then you can pursue B.E or B.tech and then MBA from any university. Some of the bestcolleges are the IIMs and Symbiosis. You have to appear for CAT i.e,Common Admission Test and score above cutoff. The test patern is: There will be 2 sections in the test. The sections are Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation , Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. Each of the sections will have 30 questions with a duration of 1 hour and 10 min. There is a 15-minute tutorial before the start of the test .The total duration of the test will be 2 hours and 35 min. |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
After you complete your B-Tech, you have two choices.
1. M Tech 2. MBA If you want to do M Tech, you have to sit for an All India level examination called the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) . If you get a good rank in it, you can try getting admissions in the esteem IIT's and NIT's. M Tech is a 2 year course. Some of the common electrical M Tech Courses are : 1. Communication Systems 2. Power Systems And Power Electronics 3. Micro Electronics And VLSI Design 4. Control And Instrumentation Otherwise if you opt for for MBA, its based on Masters in Business Administration. So you would be doing things related to how manage a business well. In any case MBA is a must. So now you got to decide, that you want to skip M Tech or do the complete process. |

Re: Which are the courses after completing B.Tech Electrical Engineering?
Hi
There are many fields where you can opt for after completing your graduation. You can go for the job in your core field sector, you can also apply for the government jobs in the country. If you want to continue your studies in the technical electrical field only, you can do it by doing M.Tech whereas if you want to join the MBA, then you can prepare for the GATE exam. if you want to change your field and go on for a job in different sector other then technical then you can apply for the banking sector jobs. You can also prepare yourself for the field in administrative services. Gud luck |
