I completed my B.Tech course in Electronics and Communication with 61% aggregate marks from M.G. University. But I have two backlogs in the seventh semester which are under revaluation. So I am unable to attend any recruitment drives. There is any option for me to get a job with my course completion certificate. In this situation, to get my graduation certificate there is at least 6 months of delay for me. So want to get any job experience during this period. Please tell me the best options available for me. if I cant get trainings from any where tell my about the short term courses also (with low course fee)

you can go industrial automation course.there are institutes in cochin that offer course with job experience certificate and placement.you can also go for VLSI desining.there are government institutes that conduct the course for very low fee structure.you can also try PLL,FPGA courses

It is good that you are trying for the companies. Training is the way to utilise this time period. Since you did btech in ECE branch then training in PLC/SCADA or Embedded system are the best available training courses. I would not suggest you to get into telecommunication company because in this line struggle is much more than any other graduate job. It is good if you get placed in Nokia-siemens or Sony-Ericsson. But rest of the companies in this field only recruit for some time and after that you will have only experience of a hard job and no compensation for that.
I would say you resume your training from banglore or delhi.

actually it is very difficult to get you job somewhere as it requires a degree .buti think you can opt for some beneficial course in your field that will boost your career to the sky . you can opt for some computer course.

The best and simplest way to pick up your academics as well as career is learn
JAVA* and dot Net. Trust me friend, some of my friends who had same problem
did the same thing they got very good placements now.

One of them is working at accenture now. her agg. was 64%.

If you get a good command over java/core java, there will be many offers
for you in future to deal with.

JAVA has changed lives of millions...
so, work on it. it will work for you too.

Better to go for further study like M.Tech or M.S, you can wait for the result and simultaneously prepare for the GATE or GRE entrance test.
Otherwise you may take short training of C++,java, .Net, php like programming languages....so that you may get good jobs.
There is another option for you that you can do a part time or full time job in any reputed call center. Working in a call center will improve your communication skill. They don't require any high profile degree they only demand for good communication skill and familiar with computer operation.
So these are the good option for you.........select the best one and go for that..

since you are in ECE student...I must tell you at this point of time you must concentrate on clearing your backlogs rather than Doing courses...But still if you can manage both you can do courses like Embedded systems and VLSI...it will surely help you in future...

Jobs like for the post of JTO,RAS,IAS ,BANK PO and many more this will lead you for a bright future and you may also apply for VSLI ,PPL OR ANY traning institute which provides you a garanted placement with a handsome package...

Its very intresting to deal with these type of questions. Dont worry your backlogs will be cleared and in these mean time you will do some training courses which will help you in the future.

If you are intrested in networking then try to do networking course because it is one of the best short term course to get completed in few months.

If you are good in Java work on that, it will help you better.

Since you are from Electronics you can better trained in VLSI designing.

There are some other courses like animation(3d & 2d), graphic design for extra qualifications besides your B.Tech degree.

All the above are moderate at cost except Animation...

Sorry, as far as i know no company recruit students who have not cleared their backlogs. You will be required to produce the final documents for verification during job interview so without clearing your backlogs it is difficult for you to get a job.

The best solution available to you is to pursue short term courses in relevant discipline. It will have dual benefits for you- it will enhance your knowledge & your time will also be not wasted.

You should apply in govt. companies. Because govt. companies have long procedure of recruitments like now a days BSNL JTO (for sc/st ) or BHEL recruitments have been published and I am quite sure they take almost 4 months from the date of advertisement of vaccancies. Till then you do better prepare for their exams I am sure that you will be clear till the time you sit in the exam and nobody wants your marksheets till then.
As you want different type of courses , you may persue different courses in VLSI or Embedded systems or Microelectronics since you are from ECE branch. Most of the institutes in Banglore and Delhi provide such training but they cost depending upon the course and duration.
I can just give you an idea of them. Embedded course would cost you almost 50000INR for the period of six month and VLSI course would also lie in this range. Courses vary according to their course contents. Like in embedded system , course of six month will provide you practical training on 32/64bit microcontroller (i.e AVR and ARM). It is better that you learn them in this grace period.

You can do courses like Ethical hacking,3D training,Multimedia related courses while clearing your back logs.You can even go for C,C++,Java,Blue J and other such programming languages but i think you must have already completed these courses in your Engineering itself.

First try to focus on your backlogs and complete it as soon as possible so that you get placed in some.Having backlogs may not fetch you good jobs.

hi....i have completed my b.tech course in electronics and communication but i am having 12 back papers..and its been 4 years since i have passed out ,i am married and a mother of a 3 yr old .Due to certain family issues i couldnt clear and its become impossible for me to clear them...i am in a real mental trauma now thinking of my incomplete degree.i would like to work ..but will i get a job with these back papers and just a course completed certificate.if so wat courses should be done ?how should i prepare myself for a job..pleezze Pleezze help me out

My friend , with out clearing your backlogs you will not be able to get a job..

So, you have to wait for your result.. after getting a clear result you can apply for different jobs depending on your aggregate.

In the mean time, you can go for some short term courses like-

1.VLSI designing
2.Embedded system
3.PLC
4.Micro controller based training
5.Signal processing based training

You can go for any of them..
Which will help you to get a job..
