What marks can fetch me valid score in gate electrical engineering?

Well friend,

If your preparations are in high level then you should not worry about the scores.

Why i am saying this because this thing will make you again a point of stress which diverts your mind towards unnecessary things.

Gate is having 60 questions weather it is Electrical or Electronics and telecom.

If you Ait for at least of 30 to 35 questions correct then you would be finding your score to be good.and these 30 - 35 questions should be correct enough in contrast to negative marking

scheme for wrong answers.Dont forget this point that don't answer those questions which ain't confident in.

hi you can score around 50 marks.and its a very good score to get a rank below 1500. the cut off score is 25... all the best

Cutoff marks of GATE for Electrical Engineering stream is varied in year to year.

previous year cut off was 25. so we can hope it will be arround +-25.

these r d cutoff marks in gate 2010

i think electrical paper was quite tough as compared to last 10 year....so cuttoff might be as low as 15 to 17.(general)....people who hv scored more than 25 will get more than 98 percentile.....

xam was seemingly easier in electrical engg this year.
cut offs are expected to go up and the cutt off should be around 27-30marks

I got 37 wht percentile and rank i axpect...

can anyone tell me clearly if cut off is going to be up or down from last cut off.......

Ee paper was certainly tough comparing 2010 paper hence cutoff must go down around 20-22

2011 paper not tough but pattern was different cutoff will go down. Marks around 45 will enough to get a intr/wrtn call 4rm iits

u may have rank near abt 1000

This year it going to be around the same range.

This year the gate in electrical engineering is the toughest.big big class professors are facing difficulty to solve it.other papers were easy.so how can u tell it was a easy paper?the some concepts were totally new.no comparison to previous years.no way man.chill out.wait for the result....

it doesn't always be constant to discuss..

each year you will get new numbers

but on an average the above average students who performs exceptionally well in their GATE exam

will definitely get seat in top Universities.

it merely depends in the no. of applicants in your stream

average cutoff for GATE electrical exam is ..

if you will get this mark it is only useful as a experience for your next attempt

no need to think about the counselling..

because you'll not get good college

so my friend..take an other attempt if you happen to have less marks.
