I would like to know the cut off marks for mbbs course in tamilnadu for the year 2012-13. I would like to know these details both for government medical colleges and private medical colleges in Tamil nadu.

The cut off marks for mbbs in Tamilnadu are..

OC : Open Competition : 198.50

BC : Backward Communities, other than Muslims : 197.75

BCM : Muslims : 196.5

MBC / DC : Most Backward Communities / Denotified Communities 196.25

SC : Scheduled Castes : 192.25

ST : Scheduled Tribes : 189.25

SCA : SC Arundhathiyar : 188.25

If i get cut off mark 196,i will get the medical seat?i am obc student

medical seats are alloted purely on the basis of your 12th cut-off mark

You must have above 60% in your PCB stream

5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
