Important Dates(Tentative):

Availability of CET Forms: 2nd-4th week of March, 2011

Last Date for submission of CET forms: 4th week of March, 2011

Date of CET: 1st week of May, 2011

Declaration of Results: Mid June, 2011

Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Common Entrance Test (MH PGM PGD CET)

Important dates (Tentative):

Date of Entrance Examination: fourth week of January, 2011

Availability of Application Forms: from the beginning of the month of December, 2010

Maharashtra – Master of Computer Application - Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET)

Important Dates:

Date of Entrance Examination: First week of March, 2011

Availability of Application Forms: Mid week of February, 2011

Good morning dear,
CET means common entrance exam test,this exam ie preliminary exam generally after 12th standard.one who ia intersted to get admission in medical colege ,engineering college,MBA college from Maharashtra,need to clear this exam CET.But nowadays there is too much competition fot these studies.So you need to get very good marks in CET Maharastra exam.

Date in upcomming year:-

Maharastra government exam generally schedules exam in the mounth of May.

Start after end of 12th exam.
In upcomming year exam dates are scheduled in the first week of May.

Government of Maharashtra conducted a single combined “Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses.

Notification For MHT-CET 2011 has not been published yet.

For getting admission for Maharashatra colleges, its is compulsory to give MHCET(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test). Your son can give his test outside Maharashtra and yet get the admission in Mumbai or maharashtra Colleges. Generally quota are for NRI, Hilly terrain region (Nagaland, mizoram, etc), Defence personnel or may be for teachers. But there is no Quotas for bank official as such in my purview.
You can refer two Websites:
www.dte.org. in ( Directoriate of technical Education, Maharashtra) for Admission related to engineering Degree , diploma courses.
www.dmer.org(directoriate of medical Education , Maharashtra) for admission to healthscience courses like MBBS,BDS etc

These two are official Websites of Maharashtra technical Board.

MHT-CET exam is conducted by Maharashtra state to the admission in the engineering & technology. The MHT-CET 2011 exam will be held on the 12th may 2011. For more information about notification & exam please see the official website of MHT-CET.
