The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture.


NATA 2010 Eligibility
10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with the least 50% aggregate marks.

NATA Application Form 2011:
The Application Form can be downloaded in the documents section of the official website. Candidates can collect the Application Form from the Test Centres. The completed forms along with the DD and required documents should be submitted at the Test Centers from 1st March 2011.

For appearing in NATA you have to fill a pre-registeration form which is available at the NATA website www.nata.in and also at the designated test centers.

You have to take an appointment from the test center by paying the test fees.

Test Fees
NATA Fees are Rs.800, and are to be paid at the time of Registration and before collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Center. The test fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ banker’s cheque drawn in favour of ‘Council of Architecture’, payable at New Delhi. Candidate has to carry filled registration form, support documents & D/D to the Test center for Registration & appointment.

You will be finally given receipt cum appointment voucher with date and time from the Test Center.

The NATA 2011 Application form was availiable in the official website.

The Pre-Registration form is now available. It is a computer form. You may download and fill the form and take a print of filled form with them to the Test Center along with other relevant documents and Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- drawn in favour of 'Council of Architecture' payable at New Delhi.

NATA 2011 Notification was annouced on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 And the NATA 2011 tests will commence from 1st April 2011. NATA can be given on any working day till 25th September every year at designated Test Centers.

So, if you need the pre-registration form of NATA, then please dont worry, just visit the official website of NATA OR download from the attachment-

National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) organizes National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) annually for screening eligible aspirants for admission into Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) course offered at various institutes in India.

Basic Eligibility for NATA
• The aspirant should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board or Institute to apply for this exam.
• The aspirants currently appearing for the 10+2 exam are also eligible
• The aspirant should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
• The aspirant must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and also in Mathematics separately.
• The aspirant should be physically and mentally fit at the time of exam.

Age Qualification for NATA
The aspirant should have at least 17 years of age to appear for this exam. There is no upper limit specified yet.

NATA 2012 Exam Dates
Nata Test shall commence from March 15, 2012 and can be given on any working day till August 31, 2012 at designated Test Centers.

NATA 2012 Application Form
NATA is offered as a paper based + computer based test.

The NATA Pre-Registration Form is available for download at website www.nata.in. The same is also available at all the Test Centers.

NATA Registration Process
Approach the Test Centres located at college / school of Architecture at a location convenient to you with the documents listed below and test fees.
• Fill up and submit the form
• Pay the fees
• Get the online registration form filled
• Get receipt cum appointment voucher with date and time from the Test Centre

NATA 2012 Examination Fees
For appearing in NATA 2012, a registration cum examination fees of Rs.800 is to be paid before collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Centre. The test fees may be paid in cash or by demand draft in favor of the NATA 2012 Test Centre
