Re: Details about GRE: Scope and colleges accepting GRE scores?
Well GRE score are Generally demanded by all the good universities offering MS/P.hd
courses. It is used as a relative and absolute measurement of your ability to complete your course at the university once you are admitted. All the top universities around the world US UK Europe Singapore , Australia accept GRE scores. So appearing for GRE is a must for you .. infact if you score well you will not only get good universities but fat scholarships as well. a 1500 + score would mean a good 50% or above scholarship..( provided your acads are not totally poor) A glance at universities which demand GRE score:: MIT California institute of Technology Yale Carengie mellon Stanford Harvard Peking University University of Pennsylvania Cornell University Imperial College (London, UK) Tokyo University Cambridge University National University of Singapore Oxford University please Note:: In addition to GRE you will also need to present TOEFL score for showing your English language skills. Further if you can manage to publish some papers or good projects it would be of immense help. And you must also furnish recommendation from reputed professors. for good scholarships. |

Hello, My dear friend, you got the wrong information. GRE is necessary for doing MS in foreign countries. It is a scholarship exam. if you want to do higher studies in India, then you can go for 1. GATE- for ME/ M.Tech 2. CAT or MAT- for MBA. All the foreign universities accept GRE score mainly in US. Thanks |
