Hai,

KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.

This exam conducted by the KPSC once in a year.

Eligibility details:-

Candidate should be complete bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

No need of percentage restrictions to apply this exam.

You must be a citizen of India.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 35 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.


Syllabus for Preliminary exam:-

Preliminary exam contains two parts Paper-I and Paper-II.


Paper-I:-

Part-I:- National/ International current affairs.


Part-II:- Humanities and art history.


Paper-II:-

Part-I:- General knowledge/Karnataka state current affairs,

Part-II:- Science and technology, environment and ecology/ general mental ability.

General Studies related to National & International important 40 questions 80 marks

Humanities 60 questions 120 marks

General Studies related to state importance 40 questions 80 marks

General Science & Technology Environment & Ecology 30 questions 60 marks

General Mental Ability 30 questions 60 marks
