Details and benefits of studying MPhil(History) Honours?
Hi everyone, I am doing my MA with History Honours. This is my first semester and after my MA, I will do MPhil with same Honours subject. But I want to know about the details of this MPhil course with this History Honours and also let me know about the benefits. Thank you!

Those who have Masters degree in related subject from a recognised board are eligible for M.phil admission.
The admission is based on entrance exam or on merit basis filled by personal interview or group discussion. Some of the entrance exam are SET CSIR NET UoH Entrance exams The course has wide scope in the present competitive world Candidates can get well paid jobs in newspaper as well as private sector They can go for IAS exam as history finds unique place in paper. Museums and galleries require professionals with knowledge of history. Some of the job profiles after the course One can work as Historian Teacher Archeologist Auctioneer Archivist One can apply for teaching job both in private as well as Government sector. |
