what are the different govt. jobs for mechanical engineers...please tell me which are the jobs

Mechanical engineers can apply for various jobs with the UPSC, Indian Forest Services, the State Service Commission, Indian Railways, Public Sector Banks, Post and Telegraphs, PWD, Chemical firms, etc. These also have job openings in Indian Army, Indian Air Force, etc. These candidates have many job profiles in the public sector like Assistant Engineers, Lab Assistant Gr. III (Mechanical), Assistant Executive Engineers, Junior Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (Diesel/ Mechanical), Superintendent Engineers etc. Some of the PSU’s that demand mechanical engineers are ONGC, DRDO, SAIL, ISRO, etc. After getting NET qualification, you can apply for lecturer post on a permanent basis in any of the government colleges.
