after B.Tech you may do one course if you think that you are not getting job only with your B.tech degree. there are so many courses are available according to your stream of B.Tech. as you are interested in computer networking and software related course then surely you may go for it. there are so many computer networking course like
LAN design
SONET
course on Optical fiber
ATM and many more.

there are so many private institution which offer these type of course. you may do also one course on networking which will cover whole syllabus of networking.

you are interested to do also software course. some software related courses are

J2EE and many more.

you may do any course according to your interest.

You are a btech student then you can have do many options for your future.You can learn a perticular language after engineering.There are so many hourrable insitutes from you can learn your interesting subject.
Networking and programming are two differt fields in computer science field.
If you have interest in networking then you can choose any option form them

1.Wireless networking

4.Network security

5.networking adminstrator

If you have interest in prgramming language so there are also so many languages which have so much scope and requirment.

1.C language

2.C++ language

3.JAVA language

4..NET language

7.DATABASE etc.

If u want to choose any programming language then u should choose java language.Its easy as compare to others language and also have many scope and requirment.

There is a big difference between a programmer package and networking engineer package.Programmer gets good package as compare to networkin engineer.

So its depend on you and also depend on your choice.
