Do candidates of MBBS eligible for IFS Exam?
hi,
i am very anxious to know about eligibility of mbbs graduates for IFS exam.I have asked few institutes about the same but they didnt gave clear explanation. UPSC gave a phrase " or equivalent" in the eligibility criteria on its IFS page http://upsc.gov.in/general/ifs.htm does it cover mbbs also. plz help. thanks a lot. waiting for reply. rohit |

Yes , MBBS degree are eligible for INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAM.
INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION A Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. Final year student are eligible for IFS exam, AGE CRITERIA The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. EXAM DETAILS The notification Date---31.03.2012. The examination Date---14.07.2012. The last date of submission of form---30.04.2012. For examination schedule you can visit to UPSC website. |
