Eligibility for 12th Commerce exam with CBSE as a private student?
I was a regular school student in Commerce stream and failed in one subject in 11th CBSE exam. Can I now appear in 12th CBSE exam as a private student? If not, then can I appear in some other board for 12th exam?

You cannot appear in 12th as a private student until you clear Compartment exam of that particular subject. After clearing Compartment exam, you can appear as a Private candidate by re-filling for examination form.
In addition, you can also apply for Improvement Exam in CBSE for improving your percentage. On the other hand, if you wish to change Board, then you can also choose this option. In this case, you need not to clear the Compartment exam of CBSE in which you were failed. |
