Please confirm the percentage required for appearing openmat 2016 exam. This is very necessary to me as this is the first time I am trying again.

You should have atleast 50% in bachelor's degree to appear in OPENMAT. OPENMAT is conducted every year by IGNOU for management course admission.

OPENMAT Eligibility
- You must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with atleast 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category.
- No age limit.

Important Dates 2016
- Last Date to Apply : 15th July , 2015
- Exam Date : 7th February , 2016
- Admission Date : 31st May , 2016

OPENMAT is an entrance exam conducted by IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) for admission to its MBA program.

Eligibility criteria for OPENMAT-2016 :

1- Age : NO age limit has been fixed by the authorities for the OPENMAT examination.
It means everyone has the chance to give this entrance exam and can go for the MBA degree course.

2- Nationality : Indian as well as foreign aspirants are eligible for this examination.

3- Academic Qualification :
There are two conditions for this entrance exam & if the candidate is fulfilling any one of the below conditions then he/she will be eligible for this entrance exam.

Condition 1 : A candidate must be graduated in any stream with 50% marks if he/she belongs to general category.

If you are the candidate of a reserved category then your aggregate total should be at least 45%.

Condition 2

Student must have the professional degree in Medical/ Law/ Engineering/ Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship/ ICSI/ ICSW with at least 50% marks for all category candidates (General + Reserved)

Eligibility to appear in OPENMAT entrance exam 2016:

You should have done Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved categories.

There is no age restriction.

A candidate who has completed a professional degree in medicine / engineering / accountancy / cost and works Accountants in / loss / company secretaryship can also appear in the entrance exam.

Eligibility to appear in OPENMAT entrance exam:

There is no upper age limit has been specified. A candidate must have done graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks for general students and 45% for SC and ST students. Graduation must had done from recognised University.

Those candidates who have completed graduation from a recognized university are eligible for OPENMAT 2016 exam. Final year candidate are eligible for IGNOU OPENMAT entrance exam.

Pattern for IGNOU OPENMAT exam 2016:-

General awareness: 30 questions
English language: 50 questions
Quantitative aptitude: 50 questions
Reasoning ability: 70 questions

Eligibility criteria to appear in OPENMAT 2016 exam :-

-The candidate must hold Bachelor's degree in any stream with 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.

-The candidate must possess 3 years of experience in supervisory or managerial after graduation.

Or,

-The candidate must have the professional degree in Medical/ Law/ Engineering/ Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship/ ICSI/ ICSW with at least 50% marks for all category candidates.

-If a candidate has cleared CAT/ MAT then there is no need to appear in OPENMAT examination.

The OPENMAT entrance test conducted for admission management programs.through OpenMAT you can get admission into the following courses.

>>Master Of Business Administrator (MBA)

>>Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management

>>Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management

>>Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management

Eligibility criteria======>

->You should have completed graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for general category / 45% for reserved category, with 3 years’ (post-qualification) managerial / supervisory / professional experience.

Dear Aspirant,
OPENMAT Entrance Exam is conducted by IGNOU for Management degree every year.
Eligibility for OPENMAT 2016.
A). Aspirants have degree from any recognised university with at least 50% in any stream.
5% relaxasation for reserved catagory.
B). Upper age limit isn't restricted.
