IGNOU OPENMAT Test is the entrance test for admission to the management programs offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The details of the Quantitative Aptitude part of the exam are given below. This part happens to be one of the most important parts of the question paper.

Qualification:

The minimum qualification required to sit for this exam is a graduate degree in any discipline.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

The Quantitative Aptitude section is the test III of the OPENMAT test. It consists of 50 marks. There is no negative marking in the test.

Mode of Exam:

The test is a paper-pencil test.

Format:

OPENMAT Test for management programmes is an objective tets. There are multiple choice type questions in the paper.

Paper Pattern:

There are 50 questions in the paper, each carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking, but multiple answers are treated as wrong answers. All the questions are compulsory.

Marking:

Each correct answer will be given 1 mark and no marks are deducted for wrong answers. Students have to mark their answers on the OMR answer sheet provided. There are four options for every question and the candidates are required to mark the most appropriate answer. In case, a candidate thinks that none of the provided answers is correct he or she needs to mark 0 on the answer sheet. Make sure to completely darken the bubbles corresponding to your answer on the OMR sheet.

Schedule:

The test has to be completed in three hours. There are three more sections apart from the quantitative aptitude part, but you can start whichever part you prefer and give as much as you want to, but you should do this wisely, keeping the short duration of the exam in mind.
