Dear Sir/Madam, I am 17 years of age and I want to apply for CDS exam. I have enrolled for BCom(H) course in this year and I am in 1st semester. I would like to know about the eligibility for me to apply for CDS exam.

CDS is Combined Defence Service and examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

To be eligible to apply for CDS examination, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university and you should be at least 19 years old and not more than 24 years of age. So, being a 17 years old candidate without Bachelor's degree, you are not eligible to apply for CDS examination
