I have completed M.Sc in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics. Am I eligible to apply for GATE Biotechnology or GATE Life Science exam? Also, let me know about the recent syllabus and exam pattern details of GATE in above mentioned areas. Further, is there any negative marking also?

Being an M.Sc. degree holder, you are certainly eligible for appearing in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) as far as the education requirement for appearing in the examination is concerned.
