don't worry he can write all other engineering exams which ever he want,

At least 80 % average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard and minimum 60% marks in each of these subjects are needed for the bitsat exam.
So you said that your son got 79.68% in his 12th, is that includes all subjects, if yes, then just take only the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and get its average. If that one is 80 and above then he can go for the bitsat exam.

Sorry but he is not eligible for it......

please dont be dishearted,there are many entrances other then bitsat he can appear for them.

Sorry hard luck you son is not eligible. For BITSAT you have to have 80% marks in PCM but since you are short of some very small amount of marks so BITSAT wont consider this and they are very strict on this

Sorry to say you sir, but your son is not eligible for BITSAT because the minimum 80% recuire for admission in bitsat.
But sir, your son got a very good percentage. Please dont loose hope your son is eligible for many entrance exams like wbjee, aieee, etc.

it is very unfortunate that you are not eligible for BITSAT exam since the minimum marks required for the BITSAT is 8-% and above in PCM as well as English.

No you are not eligible for BITSAT. Your percentage should compulsorily be 80.00% so sorry you cant be eligible for admission

165 marks is way to low for admission into BITSAT. Minimum is 295 if you wanna get into BITS. So hard luck. But dont worry let your son give BITSAT another try next academic year

if this is your son's pcm average then am sorry to tell you sir your son is not elligible for bitsat..but he might be elligible for bitsat dubai campus..if your son has applied for bitsat he might have got an application of bitsat dubai campus in which admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam..

no sir, he is not eligible for BIT SAT exam because the minimum percentage required for this exam is 80% and they are strictly following their rule. He can try for aieee or iit jee exam.

sorry friend you need to score 80%not a single % less than that .as you score less so you are not eligible friend but do not worry there are many options

Why not give an improvement exam from your respective 10 2 boards?

Get 80% PCM average with minimum 60% in each subject consisting of PCM.

Eligibility for BITSAT is 80% aggregate and 60% aggregate in PCM.

However he is eligible for IIT-JEE, AIEEE and various other entrance examinations. Dont loose heart, try hard for those.

Hi.I am very sorry to tell u that your son is not eligible for bitsat because the minimum 80% is required for that but don't be nurvous because there is so many entrance exams in which he can score well.

sorry, but he is not eligible for the exam. the bitsat exam require atleast 80 % marks in aggregate in physics chemistry and maths. he can do one thing, he can fill the form of improvement. maybe, his marks will increase and he becomes eligible for the exam.

According to eligibility criteria of BITSAT your son is not eligible because the minimum eligibility criteria for BITSAT is 80% marks in 12th class.

i got 79.92 % in pcm 2010
with 52% in maths....
but i gave maths improvement test in which i am expected to get 85 %.....
will i be eligible this year or i need to give all subject improvement test...??

To apply for BITSAT exam candidate should have at least 80% in aggregate .As your son have little less than 80% ,so think he is not eligible for the exam .

He can apply for all the other engineering entrance exams like IIT,AIEEE etc. So don't worry .

BITSAT is conducted for administration into the degree courses in BITS campus.
The qualifying exam for applying for the exam is 10+2 examinations conducted by the state as well as central board choosing mathematics,physics ,chemistry as your subject.
You need to have secured a over all aggregate of 80% with 60% in maths ,physics,chemistry.
the aspirant is eligible to appear immediately after finishing his 12th exam and the following year failing to appear for that time he/she result in losing their chance of applying for the exam
