i have done my graduation in physics honours n now i want to do post graduation from nift.
what is the eligibility criteria for the same. am i eligible ??

you should at least 60% in your academic career and
also you have to crack their entrance test for getting admission into it.

Yes your eligible to pursue for NIFT Examination , But your Mention in which stream your interested to pursue for ?

Eligibility criteria for NIFT Exmaination ( Master Degree ) :-

M.F.M. (Master of Fashion Management) :- You should complete Bachelor Degree or equivalent course in any discipline recognized university .

M.F Tech. (Master of Fashion Technology) :- You should qualified in bachelor degree in particular stream like B.E. or B.Tech in Specialization like , Textiles / Apparel / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology etc.. from recognized university .

M.Des. (Master of Design) :- You should qualified in bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university .

(OR)

You should qualified in Design Diploma/ Degree from recognized university .

Syllabus for NIFT Examination :- Quantitative Ability / Communication Ability / English Comprehension / Analytical Ability / General Knowledge / Current Affairs etc..

You may apply for this entrance examination both the Online as well as offline .

If want to crack the examination with good percentile for marks then you should go through the previous years question papers .

Eligibility for Master Programme - Design
M.Des. (Master of Design)

Graduation degree from a recognized University in any discipline* OR

Bachelor in Applied Arts (Fashion Design / Visual Communication / Graphic Design / Industrial Design / Interior Design / Multimedia Design / Product Design / Textiles & Accessories. OR

B.A. (Fine Arts) or B.Sc. (Textiles & Clothing) OR

B.Arch. OR

Design Diploma / Degree from NIFT / NID only

Candidates having relevant industry experience in areas of Fashion / Textile / Communication Design would be preferred.

*If a candidate possessing Graduation Degree in any discipline applies for the course, then he / she has to compulsory undergo 2 months (i.e. 8 weeks) training programme to develop the desired skills before taking on the course itself.

Eligibility for Master Programme - Management
M.F.M. (Master of Fashion Management)

A three years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or Diploma in Accessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only.
For foreign Bachelor’s Degree, not recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, proper certification by a National Body constituted in the country concerned for granting equivalence will have to be produced.

Eligibility for Master Programme - Technology
M.FTech. (Master of Fashion Technology)

B.E. / B.Tech. (Textiles / Apparel / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology)

i don't think you are eligible for PG but if you are below 23 years of age you can give the entrance test and apply for the UG course.

Yes, candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to pursue master degree in fashion course.

NIFT is India's premier institute for the course. The eligibility to get admission in the course is :-

M.F.M - Bachelor degree in any discipline.

M.F.Tech - Bachelor degree in Technology or Engineering.

There is no age limit to get admission in the course but candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance test for the admission.
