The minimum eligibility criteria in Maharashtra or any other place to take admission in engineering colleges is the candidate should be class 12th passed and should have physics and mathematics as main subjects.

Most Probably for Engineering you must qualify the entrance test like AIEEE or the state level entrance examination for engineering.Some of the private engineering colleges takes admission without any rank in entrance examinations.
