i have got gpa of above 7.1 in all my semesters and cgpa(aggregate) is about 8.6.
Then in my 10th i have got 95% and in my 12th i have got 78%.Am i eligible to take the exam???pls reply me soon...

Hi...You have done well and your aggregate score for 10 and 12 is very good...Don't worry for job...have the same spirit until the end and complete your degree with good grades so that you can fulfill the criteria for just being eligible for appearing the interview.Since now you are in 1st year you are not allowed to appear for the job as the minimum criteria is that you need to have minimum of graduation certificate or you can appear for the exam when you are in final semester.Its a multinational company and the they look for minimum of 60% and above in your 12th and 11th standard and more over they come for campus interview also so that you can try when you are in final year.That will be the real time for you to convince them and show all your capability and ability that you are having.Do well and concentrate in your studies...

Yes you are definitely eligible for the TCS because minimum requirement to take the exam is 60%. And as per their new selection procedure you need not sit for the written test because you have more than 70% in your degree so you are directly eligible for the interviews which are both the technical and HR.

Yes you are definitely eligible to take the exam as the minimum requirement set by the company is 60% as per the previous trend. And according to the their new selection procedure all those students having their degree percentage above 70% can directly sit for the interview which are technical and HR.

60% is just fine to get through.... just practice well for interview, GD, and aptitude test

if TCS is on an on campus drive it will require you to have 60% marks throughout your academic career. plus you cannot have a gap of more than two years in between your 12th and the year of joining the technical course. If you have a gap you'll also have to give a valid reason for it.

actually i m not having 60% in my 12th.(59%) And unfortunately i got 2 year back in my engg. but i scored 72% marks in class 10 th. and also i m having 60% in my engg. so you guys tell me i m eligible or not.

sorry friend... you are not elligible for TCS... they need 60% throught the studies and no backlogs.... you dont worry my friend cause there are many companies still in line where they assist people only based on the performance and not for marks... just go for it...

Am sorry, if you are fresher then you are not eligible to apply for TCS cause you must have 60% in 10th,12th and UG degree... but dont lose hope there are still lot more small companies are there wherein they only see your performance but not the marks so just work for some 2yrs ther gain some experience and then you can jump into any big companies like TCS, Wipro etc... am sure you going to have a bright future...

TCS is a good company of India. According to eligibility criteria you are eligible for the TCS placement.
Eligibility Criteria For TCS
1. Minimum 60% in the B.Tech, 10th and in 12th.
2. There are no more then two year gap in the academic career.

Eg: Degree Start date : Mar 2000, supposed to end by Mar 2003. But it was ended in Mar 2005. Does this considered as a Educational break.

I got 63% marks in 10th, 62% marks in plus-two and 61.5% marks in degree.But I completed degree with a total of 5 arrear papers.Currently I am doing MCA.Am I eligible for TCS company.If I need to join the company,then how many marks should I need to score for MCA.

You should have scored more than 60% and you may have upto 2 current arrears.

60% and above is enough to take TCS test.

I am from B.E(ECE) 2011 BATCH,
I have 75% in 10th,70% in 12th & i have first class degree 66% degree marks.
In RGTU(BHOPAL) UNIVERSITY,1st year 10%,2nd year 20%,3rd year 30% & final year 100% marks consider,then our degree calculated & they give a certificate & marksheet of degree marks which i have 66%.
But if i count my degree percentage as(average): total sum of percentages/total no. Of semesters.
Then the avg is 59.6
So conclusion is dat i have degree of 66 % marks
But avg is 59.6
I am eligible or not ??
