I am a diploma holder (3 year) in computer science after my 10th. Later I did my Graduation in Computer Science on basis of my Diploma. Thus, i was admitted in 2nd year directly in my degree course. So my degree course will count of 3 years. In eligibility criteria of IBPS SO IT officer vacancy they have asked 4 year degree course.
So i want to ask if i am eligible for The post or not ?

IBPS SO IT officer post Eligibility Criteria 2021:-

Educational Qualification:- Candidates must have a graduation degree. Candidates must have two years full-time post-graduation degree in Personnel Management/Labour Law/Industrial Relations/ HR/HRD/Social Work. To get further more details about eligibility criteria you can check it on Google.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS SO IT officer post:-

> 4 years engineering/technology degree in Computer Science/ IT/ computer applications SAS electronics and communication engineering / electronics and telecommunication/ electronics and instrumentation

OR

Post graduate degree in computer science/ IT/ Computer Application/ Electronics and communication engineering/ electronics and telecommunication/ electronics and instrumentation or Graduates having passed DOEACC'B' Level exam.

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2021 on the basis of Education:-

1- Must have a graduation degree.

2- Two years full-time post-graduation degree in Personnel Management/Labour Law/Industrial Relations/ HR/HRD/Social Work.

Even having completed your Degree course in Computer Science of 3 years through Lateral entry after diploma you will be eligible for appearing in IBPS SO IT officer recruitment for which there is requirement for a full time four years degree course in computer science as degree pursued through lateral entry is considered equivalent to a full time degree course in computer science.
