is there any eligibility criterai in bvp university if we want a management seat for b.tech course?

Bharati Vidyapeeth University is amongst few of those universities in India, who have the potential to provide quality in their education. Bharati Vidyapeeth offers a wide range of professional degree courses and offers quality in all of them. the university was established in the year 1956. It was established under the ACT of UGC, under section 3. The university was approved by the Indian Government and was granted the category of Grade A amongst the colleges in India..
The university conducts a common entrance test in order to admit students every year to the B.tech and MCA program. Bharati Vidyapeeth University is an independent or better termed as deemed University was established in the year 1956. The University is amongst the most top ranked deemed institutes. The University was given a deemed status on April, 1996. The status was given by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The University presently undertake 12 institutes and after achieving the deemed status additional undertaken three more institutes. The names of those institutes are given below:: 1. Medical College. 2. Dental College and Hospital. 3. College of Ayurved. 4. Homoeopathic Medical College. 5. College of Nursing. 6. College of Engineering. 7. Poona College of Pharmacy. 8. Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development . 9. Institute of Environment Education and Research. 10. Yashwantrao Mohite College of Arts, Science and Commerce. 11. New Law College. 12. Social Science Centre (for Social Work). 13. College of Physical Education. 14. Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Science Studies and Research. 15. Research and Development Centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Applied Chemistry. 16. Interactive Research School for Health Affairs. 17. Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Information Technology and Biotechnology. DETAILS OF COURSES: • B.Tech (Engineering) 4 years • MCA 2 years ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: For B.Tech (CET) Candidates appearing for the CET examination for the B.tech course must be at least 10 + 2 or its equivalent passed from a recognized educational board of India. The candidates should also secure at least 60 percent marks in these examinations. The candidates appearing for the board examination in the year 2011 are also eligible. For MCA course In order to be eligible for the course of MCA, one will have been at least a BCA graduate. Also one should secure at least 60 percent in that examination. Candidates in the final year of BCA are also eligible. IMPORTANT DATES: • Last date for submission of completed application forms for CET: last week of April, 2011 • Last date for submission of completed application forms for B.CAT II: 1st week of March, 2011 • CET Engineering 2009: 2nd Sunday of May, 2011 • B.CAT II 2009 for MCA: Mid of March, 2011 NOTE: The candidates who have already applied for Entrance Test for B.Tech Course at Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering at Pune will also be considered for admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering at New Delhi. They need not apply again.
