i hav done MBA in marketing and finance.i want to do ph.d in marketing,so please tell me about ph.d program and concerned information.what is the eligibility criteria for that?

you can do your p.hd from osmania university,
this is very good university regarding phd in marketing and finance.
and for this you should have at least 55% in mba.

for a PhD Degree, you are required to have either at least 2 years of prior life experience in your preferred area of study or submit a doctoral thesis.

Eligibility for Ph.D in marketing:

Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks along with minimum 50% marks in graduation or Degree in engineering and technology, law, chartered accountancy, cost accountancy or any other professional qualification equivalent to a masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks and minimum five years of work experience in industry at the managerial level (post qualification) or minimum of three years work experience as a faculty in a management institute approved by AICTE or a University. surely eligible to do P.hd in marketing. You have done your MBA in marketing,
then you are definately eligible for P.hd, just do P.hd, you will get good jobs
after completing P.hd.............

i want to know about the selection procedure of fellowship programme in business colleges for ph.d after completion of MBA.

Hi, minimum eligibility for PhD is post graduation degree from any recognized university, with a Bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Or those who possess professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS, or Those with B.E./B.Tech degrees, Or Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration, considered equivalent to MBA. Some institute might have some additional criteria like 2-3 years' post qualification full time relevant work experience in executive capacity, 55 % marks or equivalent CGPA at PG level, entrance test etc. Some of the institutes require GATE/NET for PhD. Every institute has its own selection procedure which you can find out directly from the institute where you are interested to take admission. In Kolkata, you may explore IIM Calcutta (iimcal.ac.in) for PhD in management related topics. I have done PGDM (2 years full time)program from Sinhgad Business School of Pune but it is not an AICTE approved course.Rather than this I have done PGDFT(foreign Trade), A 1 years fulltime program from Pune University which is an AICTE approved course.
