Respected sir,
I have done post graduate diploma in rural development from xavier institute of social service and want to know the admission procedure of Ph.D programme which are related to rural development running in IIT. What is the eligibility criteria for getting admission in IIT?

the general eligibility for almost all the IITs are :-
M.E./M.Tech. in relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA (or 60% marks in aggregate) at both B.Tech. and M.Tech. levels OR B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc.(Basic Science) in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 7.0 in a 10 point scale (or 65% marks in aggregate) with a valid GATE score OR M.A. in the relevant field with 6.5 CGPA ( or 60% marks) with NET fellowship.
