I want to ask. MCA students can apply in DRDO And what is the Sylabus.

to get admission in drdo entrance exams you dhould have minimum 60% marks in 12th level with maths. then you should appear in drdo exams.

no dear i dont think the candidates from MCA background are eligible for the DRDO exam only candidates from engineering or technology back ground are eligible for this exam hope you understand..bbye take care and good luck for other jobs...

DRDO Entrance Exam 2010 Eligibility
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 for admission in graduation Program from any recognized Board.
For Admission in Post graduate program the Candidate Should have passed Gradate degree from any recognized university

drdo takes at a pass marks in mca.
though you try out 60% cut off,rest good score in theis tests.

does DRDO recruit any individual from chemistry background ??...i mean after bsc or msc in chemistry...are those students eligible for the DRDO examination....

why life is that difficult for mca's??

the maths portion syllabus ias follows:
Linear Algebra: Matrix Algebra, Systems of linear equations, Eigen values and eigen vectors.
Calculus: Mean value theorems, Theorems of integral calculus, Evaluation of definite and improper integrals, Partial Derivatives, Maxima and minima, Multiple integrals, Fourier series. Vector identities, Directional derivatives, Line, Surface and Volume integrals, Stokes, Gauss and Green’s theorems.
Differential equations: First order equation (linear and nonlinear), Higher order linear differential equations with constant coefficients, Method of variation of parameters, Cauchy’s and Euler’s equations, Initial and boundary value problems, Partial Differential Equations and variable separable method.
Complex variables: Analytic functions, Cauchy’s integral theorem and integral formula, Taylor’s and Laurent’ series, Residue theorem, solution integrals.
Probability and Statistics: Sampling theorems, Conditional probability, Mean, median, mode and standard deviation, Random variables, Discrete and continuous distributions, Poisson, Normal and Binomial distribution, Correlation and regression analysis.
Numerical Methods: Solutions of non-linear algebraic equations, single and multi-step methods for differential equations.
Transform Theory: Fourier transform, Laplace transform, Z-transform.

i like to ask ,what should the qulification for appearing the enteance exam.what are the requriements?eligibility for mca students? if get less marks in 12th with less percentage,there are not eligiblefor it?

minimum 65% marks in btech is require to join in DRDO.

age limit 21-29.

Eligibility

1)Qualifications::

& Communication Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Computer Science & Engg. / Chemical Engg. /
Electrical Engg. from a recognized University in the respective/relevant disciplines.

2) Age Limit::

The upper age limit is 28 years (as on 5th June 2009).
Age relaxation: Maximum relaxation in upper age limit will be as under:-
i) Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates

how can i join drdo after 10 2 for graduation

i have done my Mtech and i am a 2010 passed out. can i apply for the Set Exam?? was the age relaxation to reservation students or OC students can also apply until 29years?? please let me know.

a\c to me you are not eligible for appearing in this exam(DRDO). such fields are only for students of science background . those have maths, physics, chemistry in +2 as well as in graduation.

You are wrong sir. A person with a MCA degree from any recognized university is eligible for DRDO set. The criteria is 55% passing marks.
