Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) came into existence in the year 1958. At present, DRDO is supported by over 5000 scientists and over 25,000 other technical, scientific, and supporting people. DRDO has many major projects for the development of missiles, light combat aircrafts, radars, armaments, electronic warfare systems, etc. DRDO has already brought out many momentous achievements in many such technologies. The main mission of DRDO is to provide technological solutions to the services in order to optimize combat effectiveness and to promote well-being of the troops. The DRDO also aims to develop infrastructure and dedicated quality manpower in order to make a strong technology base.

Job Profile:

Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Store Assistant.

No. of posts: 61

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs.1900

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 27 yrs. (Relaxable as per rules)

Qualification and experience – The candidate must have passed in XII class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. The candidates must be capable of typing on computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the post is through DRDO Entry Test and interview.

Date of Written Test – 24.4.2011

Application Fee:

Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs. 50 must be drawn in favor of The Director, CEPTAM, Delhi, payable at Delhi. There is no fee for SC/ ST/Ex-Servicemen, and PWD candidates.
