Hi.

I had finished my PGDBM in systems from one of the B school and
currently want enhance my qualifications.

I am currently working in one software firm since 2 years as a software
developer.

I want to do Mtech in Computer science/IT in distance mode.
Please let me know am I eligible to do the Mtech or not and if I am
eligible please provide me list of valid universities to do Mtech in distance
mode.

You are eligible for the MTech in distance mode. The eligibility criteria being nothing but a BTech in computer science which you would have done for sure as you have mentioned that you are a software development engineer.

to do Mtech in distance mode after PGDBM you have to qualify gate exam.

the GATE eligibilty is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

-Eligibility Conditions for Full-Time M.Tech.

* A candidate must have passed B. E. / B. Tech. degree in Electronics & Communication/ Computer/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from the University of Delhi or equivalent qualifications from recognized University/Institutions.

OR
* A candidate must have passed in the A.M.I.E. (India ) Exam with appropriate Specialization/ Grad. I.E.T.E (India), AMIE (London), or any other examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to B. E. Degree by the University of Delhi.

* A candidate for admission to full time course must have valid GATE score card. (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
