Eligibility for PhD English Literature and university offering this stream?


What is the minimum qualification for the Ph.D as I am doing my final MA Literature in English and whether I am eligible to get admission now or not? And, which university offers PhD in English Literature?

Eligibility for PhD in English literature-
* Candidates must have completed their masters degree in English language with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university.

Universities offering this course-
* Presidency college, Chennai
* Loyola college, Chennai
* IIT kanpur
* Andhra university
* English and foreign language university, Hyderabad
