My son has completed his 10th board final exams and now he wants to join the Indian Air Force Academy, Dehradun. What is the eligibility criteria and application procedure to join Indian Air Force Academy, Dehradun?

To join Indian Air force Academy, Dehradun, you are required to qualify CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) held by UPSC twice every year.

Further, the minimum eligibility required to appear in CDS entrance examination for joining Air force Academy are as below :-

i) You must be an Indian citizen.

ii) Your age must lie in between 20 years to 24 years.

iii) You must have completed your graduation degree in any discipline (but with Physics and Mathematics as main subject at higher secondary school degree level) from a recognized university.

iv) You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.
