I am from Kolkata. Am i eligible to sit for upmt and hppmt.

Eligibility for Uttranchal Pre Medical Entrance Test (UPMT) are as follows :

Your age should not be less than 17 years.

For MBBS/BDS : You must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with atleast 50 % marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

For BAMS/ BHMS : You must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
If you are appearing for the qualifying examination (12th) and result is not available, you are also eligible to appear in UPMT.


Eligibility for Himachal Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test (HP CPMT) are as follows :

Your age should be between 17 years and 25 years.

You must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with atleast 50 % marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC). If you are appearing for the qualifying examination (12th) and result is not available, you are also eligible to appear in HP CPMT.

hi...
for UPMT:
if you have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.you are eligible.
percentage marks(10+2):you have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects.40% marks for SC/ST/OBC.

for HP CPMT:
your age is 17 years and must not have completed 25 years of age on 31st December,2009.

IN Physics , Chemistry and Biology subjects which sahll include a practical test with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC).

yes you need to have domicile certificate because they are state level exam
if you are the citizen of the respective state then you dont need to produce domicile
minimum eligibility for upmt and hppmt is that you should have 60% as aggregate in PCB from a recognised board

the education qualification should be 10+2
OBC/SC/ST candidate have to score minimum 45% in PCB and 50% for general category.

Eligibility

Nationality/Domicile: The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (Permanent) resident of the State of Uttaranchal.

Age: The Candidate should be 17 years on or before December 31 on the year of the admission.

Educational Qualification: The Candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in Intermediate Science (Biology group) (10+2) with English and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the percentage of above mentioned marks will be 40% in place of 50%.

your question is not complete- but Eligibility for upmt and hppmt are as-


who have passed atleast two examinations out of four i.e. Middle, Matric, +1 & +2 or its equivalent from the recognised school(s) /College(s) situated in the State of Himachal Pradesh only are eligible to apply for the test.

The Bonafide Himachal Students who are admitted to Navodaya School(s) situated in Himachal Predesh, but passed Matric or +2 examinations under the exchange programme form other Navodaya School(s) in the country are also eligible for competing this test.

I am a resident of Jamshedpur city which happen to be in Jharkhad state , but i am working in Gulf , my son is schooling in Gulf with one of CBSE school , Is he eligible for PMT ?

UPMT 2010 Eligibility

Age: Candidate must be born on or before 31st Dec 1993 (i.e. not less than 17 years).
The Candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/ Intermediate or its equivalent from a Recognized Board.

i am resident to uttar pradesh ,,is there any other state exam which i can give?????
for example can i give upmt,bihar pmt or any state exam ,,,,please tell me if there is any state medical exam where domicile is not needed for government seats!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi friend...
yes ur eligible to apply for both, but it has some requirements that u have to full fill such as for
UPMT..
--your age limit is from 17 to 25year

--you should posses 50 % marks in aggregate as well as 50% average marks in the subjects like physics, biology and chemistry..
and only 40% for SC/ST/OBC...

where as for HPPMT
---for these u should score 50%of marks in aggregate in class 12..and also secure 50% in the physics, chemistry and biology..


--age limit is from 17 to 25 years...
