No,there is no common exam which going to replace State pmt exams.

Actually to get addmission in Medical college in india you have to give following entrance exam:

*AIIMS(All India Institute of Medical Science) entrance exam:Through this exam you get addmission to AIIMS institute.

*AIPMT(All India Pre Medical Test):Through these exam you get addmission to all the college of India.

*State PMT(like RPMT,UPPMT,MPPMT):Through these exam you get addmission in state govt and private college of state.

are all d state pmt exams replacing by only one exam coducted by cbse from 2011-2012

is state pmts are included in commomn entrance exams??

It has been proposed to replace but it's up to the states whether to replace or not , all the states have not yet agree with it, so it is not going to be replaced this year, one of the unagreed state is West bengal

No, common entrance not replacing state pmt.
AIIms(all india institite of medical science) organized there own exam for medical science.this year medical council of india decide conduct AIPMT for all state medical college.
also state pmt like Uppmt,mppmt conduct there own exam for state medical college.
so you can not only state PMT but also AIPMT .

NO. State P.M.T is not replace by Common All India P.M.T exam.
Medical Council of India is not able to conduct N.E.E.T Exam in 2012 because all state is not ready to participate in N.E.E.T exam.

So you have to appear in A.I.P.M.T exam.
