Eligiblity for Bank PO Exams for Btech students?
Dear Sir,
I am a student of 3 year B.Tech (5th sem), Am i eligible for Banks entrance exam (post: Bank-PO) ? |

you are eligible for it only after completing your b.tech
just complete your b.tech and then appear for it. |

For appearing in bank po exams one should have a degree,so after completion of your degree you will appear in bank po exams.

hi,
eligibility for bank PO is graduation with 60% aggregate marks(for sbi bank).for other banks, percentage criteria will change but minimum qualification is complete graduation. best of luck...@@ |

No this time you are not eligible for that but after passing your B.Tech you are eligible to sit in the PO exam, and the eligibility criteria for that is you must have minimum 60% marks in bachlor degree and you are below 28 years age.

you can write the exam next year because the eligibility criteria fir bank po is:
you should be a graduate.and you are in third year so obviously you can not write the exam this time. |

yes after btech you are a graduate you can apply all bank po form ...........
it requires prepration in reasoning well and all other parts are same as mba exams. |

Candidate must not be more than 30 years of age to be recruited as bank PO.
•Candidate must be nationality of India. •Candidate must be graduated in any discipline with minimum of 55% aggregate from a Government recognized University. •Computer qualification like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course / certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. is also essential for fulfilling eligibility criteria |

yes, you can apply but i don't think this is an good idea after completion your b.tech.because ur field is technical than how can you go in bank po..

you are eligible as it needs that •Candidates must have cleared 10+2 level with at least 60 % aggregate. •Candidate must have knowledge about General Banking. when you will complete b tech then you can join it best of luck |

Sir .i m in 8th sem and would complete ma engineering till may and i will have my 8th sem result till october....and this is suposed to be.....and my agg % is above 60 in all 10,12 and engg....i just want to know can i give PO exams as my final sem is running...

you may only appear in PO exam if on the last date of submission of form for the exams you have passed the examination with whatever % given for candidates....
you have to wait until you pass your engineering. |

you will be eligible in 7th sem as you will be in final year which is eligibility criteria ........
better opt for core jobs as this sector you have chosen is good after your masters ...... |

After completing your b.tech course you are eligible for bank P.O exams. If you will scored 60% marks in 12th exams and 55% marks in graduation, then you are eligible for bank p.o exams. Final year appearing students are not eligible for this exams.......... ok all the best. |

Hello,
Minimum qualification to be eligible is that you must be graduate with a minimum 50% at graduation and 60% in class XII. So first complete complete your graduation with the required percentage and then you are eligible. Good Luck! |

Now you are not eligible for the bank PO exams ... The minimum eligibility for the bank PO is that atleast you will have to appear in the final year of graduation Or you have passed the graduation with minimum of 60 % of marks in aggregate.... All the best. |

Qualifications requirement to sit for IPS exam is given below 1.minimum qualification graduation in any subject, with 55% marks in graduation. 2.for Btech students minimum 60% marks in btech is essentially required. all the best......... |

most of the bank po exam asks for either 60% or 555 so since you have it you are elligible for applying to bank po exma sin some exceptional cases onl;y some banks asks for 12 level marks

for Bank po examination you must be graduate. so after your B.Tech you will be able to appear in Bank po examination. also in some bank po examination you may appear in 4th year of b.tech. but in that case the bank will provide a date in which you have to submit your b.tech pass certificate. if you are able to submit then only you are eligible.

yes u can appear for bank PO only after completing ur graduation. Bank PO requires a graduate degree. After completing it u can fight for the job of any bank. thank u |

Generally the eligiblity required for the bank po for various bank entrance exam is mentioned below: Relaxation in upper age limit: SC/ST – 05 years, OBC – 03 years, Ex-serviceman – 05 years, Physically challenged category candidates – 10 years Minimum educational qualifications: (As on 01.01.2010) Probationary officer: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/PC – 50%) in aggregate from a university recognized by government of India. Computer qualification like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course/certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. essential. Agriculture field officer (in specialist cadre): Graduate with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/PC – 50%) in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary science/ Dairy science/ Agriculture engineering/Fishery science/Pisciculture/ Agriculture marketing and co-operation from a university recognized by govt. of India or post graduate degree in any of the above discipline. Knowledge of computer essential. All Educational Qualifications should be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute. The Educational Qualifications prescribed for the posts are the minimum requirements for eligibility. How could i say that you r eligiable or not as you have not mentioned any estimeted percentage after b.e As usally some bank demand 60 per.and some 60 to 55 in graduation or b.e and 60 per. in 12 |
