what are all the requirments to be filled in the karnataka CET application form ? I have completed 5 years in karnataka and is studying in 12th std in k.v dharwad & my parents have studed in karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN years. In which category should i apply .

no dear the categories mentioned by you does not allow you to sit in the exam as you are not eligible yet you need to have studied at least 7 years in karnataka or you must have a domicile certificate of karnataka to apply for the exam and i think you must be having it as your parents are of karnataka, so in that case if it is so then you are eligible for the exam and for more details i will suggest you to visit the link provided by me to get more details on eligibility conditions..

you will definitely be eligible to appear for Karnataka cet, pls check your eligibility in regard to a course and group after checking the attachment and visiting http://cet.kar.nic.in/

The application forms can be submitted with a late fee of Rs. 500 up to March 15......

For Engineering / Technology courses, the applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects, irrespective of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test.

iam really sorry to say you that you are not eligible to sit in the exam because you must have a domicile certificate of karnataka to apply for the exam or you need to have studied at least 7 years in karanataka.

As per your question, eligility and Important dates of KCET is given below.......................


Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility required to take the examination is plus two from the recognized board under the Karnataka state. The candidates must have 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The Engineering candidates must study English with PCM at the higher secondary level and that of the medical aspirants must take the PCB with English. The Architecture aspirant must have a good score in the NATA along with the CET examination. The candidates must be the resident of Karnataka state and the minimum age limit is set to be 17.
