Elligiblity for NIMCET exam?


i have got 70% in BCA but i have got 59.9% in Class 12 exam. So, am i elligible for sitting for the exam???

hey swetarules,

if you are belong to ST/SC category than you are eligible.and in other case you are not eligible.

eligibility criteria is: minimum 60% marks

1.12th level

2.In Bachelor's Degree

for SC/ST candidates with minimum 55% marks are eligible.

Indian Nationals having minimum 60% marks in each of the examinations of
i. 12th level
ii. Bachelor's Degree of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester/year are eligible to apply. The SC/ST candidates with minimum 55% marks are eligible. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for NIMCET.

IF you belong to sc/st category then you are eligible,otherwise not.

DON'T BE DISHEARTENED.

the minimum criteria is 60% in tenth ,inter and degree,so you are not eligibile if you are from general category,
if you are from sc/st then you are eligibile

NIMCET Exam Eligibility of 2010
Indian Nationals having minimum 60% marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in each of the examinations of
i. 12th level
ii. Bachelor's Degree of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester/year in all the above (i) and (ii) mentioned courses, are eligible to apply. The SC/ST candidates with minimum 55% marks (6.0/10 CGPA) are eligible. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for NIMCET2010.

you are not eligible for the exam.....as you lack by 0.1% in 12th standard......
although you can verify that will you marks in 12th be rounded off for the eligibility....

if they can consider 59.9% as 60% after rounding off then you are eligible for it.....

Eligibility

Candidates with an aggregate (all subjects put together) of 60% marks ( 6.5/10 CGPA) in Bachelor’s degree of minimum duration of 3 years from a recognized University in any discipline, with Mathematics as one of the subjects both in graduation and at 10+2 level are eligible. Those candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examinations in 2006 are also eligible to appear for the test. However, they will have to furnish proof of having passed in the qualifying examination, with an aggregate of 60% marks, at the time of counseling / admission. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to appear for the NIMCET-06.

eligiblity for this exams are, you should have get minimum 60% marks in 12th class. if you get, then you are eligible.

they fix the elligibity marks for 60% percentage in
12th
degree course
for other candidates and sc/st for 55%at minimum

general candidates must have 60% in both 12th and graduation.
SC/ST candidates require 55% in both 12th and graduation for writing NIMCET exam.

so if you are SC/ST you are eligible otherwise not

dear friend,
To be eligible in NIMCET exam you should have:
1.if you are general category you should have 60% marks in 12th & bachelor's degree from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects.
2.if you belongs from sc/st then you should have atleast 55% marks in 12th & bachelor's degree.

if you belong to st/sc category then you are eligible but for general category and obc category a minimum of 60% in both +2 and graduation is required to sit for the exam
so dont be frustrated try for other examination

i am very sorry to say that your marks in the graduation is very good but in the 12th you are missing 60% very minutely.
so you are not eligible and you can not apply.

Hello friend,

I regret that you are not eligible for NIMCET..

As according to the NIMCET eligibility criteria: the candidate must have at least 60% marks in graduation..

So as you are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria you are not eligible for it..

Try for other colleges other than applying colleges other than NIMCET..

National Institute of Technology (NITs) are premier technical institutions
of national repute, fully funded by Government of India.
NIMCET is the national level entrance test conducted by NIITs for
