hello sir/Mam

I have passed xii this year from ISC board.
my subjects were Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
i am planning to persue engineering as my field of study.
I am still confused ,which is the engineering on demand right now.

Thus my question follows:
which is the most demanding engineering in todays scenario?
Also in which engineering would i earn more, and which is todays demand in India from its dvelopment point of view.

I want to work as hard as i can, no matter what time it takes.

Please do suggest me the institutes which have these engineering courses.
While doing so please keep in mind my xii class percentage
(72 % in ISC board) also my rank in AIEEEE 2010 i:e 1899(SR)

One is able to get a handsome salary in all the engineering branches. All branches are doing good and have good future prospects. There are plenty of jobs for deserving candidates. I would suggest you to choose a branch that contains subjects you are most interested in so that you can perform your best. But in now a days mechanical
engineering has highest demand right now............

Now a days the highly paid engineering stream is aeronautical engineering. The colleges offering it are listed in the prospectus given alongwith the aieee form. You can get its knowledge from there. After aeronautical, mechanical engineers are in great demand.

dear friend, based on your aieee rank attend the concelling and now a time civil ,mech,electrical are on demand in bangalore there are some colleges which provides 100% placement in the field of civil and other branches all you need a good aggregate in b.e and you will get placed within your academic session only. all the best...

u can go for mechanical stream ,bcoz its evergreen branch......

Ok first of all let me tell you that there is nothing such as best engineering branch. As i always advise and will advise you the same to go for your interest.

Dont run after the branch which gives away money. The money comes only when you work hard and are suitable for it.

So first of all list our all your interests and then you may ask whether which one to choose

And you may get some branches with your state rank so list out the branches which you like and we will help you to select the best for you!

i think that your air is not good enough to have good branches in good colleges but i will refer you that first go for state quota and try to get some branches like such as eee or instrumentation, mechanical,civil .... if you are neutral about the branches i.e. you don't have any interested branch .

but if you have interest in some field such as you likes to manupulate with computers(cse) or likes to play with machines(mechanical) .......

and according to me , the most demanding branch at present is ece but don't choose if not interested since its bit difficult to cope with. and also biotech, mathematics and computing will have their roots in upcoming years ....

While asking this question, you should have mentioned about your interest in any particular field. Since, i dont know what are your expertise, i will answer the question in general.
As per the present scenario, civil engineering is one the most rewarding programme due to the infrastructural development throughout India. Expansion in the field of railways, power sectors, malls etc. has open up lots of job opportunity for civil engineers in this country and will definitely accelerate in future.
Along with it, the development policies of indian government has also provided employement to civil engineers in the last few years and the same is expected in the coming future.

i hve taken eee branch in my b.tech course . but right now i am confused as everyone saying, this is a tough branch and its very difficult to get jobs in the same field........

I got 51 marks in EAMCET and XII percentage is 75% and am intresterd in Aerunautical and mechanical so please suggest me which one will be best for me?

My son got 56 % in CBSE XII and now he want to become engineers,what is the prospects of admission in engineering colleges and which Branch he can opt. please also advise wheather the XII percentage will affect his future carrer and placements.

Currently electronics and communication is at the top but in future the most demanding branch will be civil as the requirement of the civil engineer is very high as compared to there production....

During the last years electronic & communication was th demand. Its now too. Along with that IT and COMPUTER SCIENCE are fast approaching.
Highest salaries are given only to IT companies which demands IT & COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGG.
So i think these technical fields are more demanded

Dear there is lot of scope in this engineering field.
You choose the branch according to your interest.
If you are interested in Government jobs then look forward to take "Electrical and Electronic Engg."
and if you are interested in dealing with software then you should look for CS or IT.

Demands and value of engineer always changes you can't tell scope of any trade
after four years .Acc. to present you can opt ECEor mecanical because they are core subjects

if you are interested in dealing with software then you must take CS or IT otherwise you can take electrical or electronics......

Since you were having maths , so its better to opt for engineering....
branch depends on your interest,but at the moment,electronics branch is at the top but in future civil will be having a high demand.....

if you are having interesting mechanical then it is very easy branch otherwise it is quite tough to cope up with that......
At this moment highest package is given to CS students,so dont wory about the package if you opt for CS branch....

At this moment Electronics and communication (ECE) is at the top...
Very high packages is been given to ECE branch students as its demand is very high..........

u must do mechanical engineering. becoz mechanical engineering has more demand in the market and it is best forever and second option is civil engineering

Electrical & ELectronics (EEE) is the most demanded branch right now...By EEE we can get into any kind of fields in future.govt,construction field,private,higher studies all supports this branch well...

it is not eassy to say Which engineering has highest demand right now.as engineering demand totally depends upon the market condition & market situation.

software engg is more demanding for now a days.but it has a high uncertainity.

as compare to software core field are best.as the demand of core field are almost stable.so you may take

1.civil engineering.

2.electrical engineering.

3.electronics engineering.

As far as jobs during a recession, it is probably best to have the broadest skills possible (civil, electrical, mechanical). Civil engineering is good during a recession because many civil engineers (like myself) do private sector and public sector work. When one area is down the other may help you out.

Yes, you can go for any of the branches as all evergreen, but then also mechanical is better than all others.

you rank in aieee is not so bad you can any top college of rajasthan having branch any of the following
EC,EN,EL.ME,CIVIL.
