you have not mentioned from where you want to pursue ph.d.. minimum eligibility for giving a ph.d exam is different in different universities.. delhi university helds an entrance test and an interview for the candidates.. forms may b available by he end of june... as per the study material is regared, one should know what kind of questions will be asked in the exam and then prepare accordingly..
and for pursuing ph.d 'chemisty' as a wohle can not serve as a topic to do ph.d in.
you hav to choose a particular topic for your ph.d.. but the question paper may consist of questions which are related to research, latest inventions etc.
