i am doing my 12th std in tamilnadu and i am interested in doing some architectural courses so i am interested in knowing whether there are any seperate exams for that and where will i get the application forms and what is the last date for applying and where are the application forms given

you can apply for b.arch in aieee,
also there is state level exam like pacet in andhra pradesh

you can do b.tech in architecture from reputed colleges like IIT's ,NIT's ,BIT,punjab engineering college etc.

for admission to these colleges you have to write some entrance exams like;

AIEEE--for admission to NIT's,
IIT-JEE--for admission to IIT's
BITSAT--for admission to BITS pilani.

there are also several state level colleges which provide b.tech in architecture ,for those courses you can write your state common entrance test.

If you want to persue architectural programs like- B.ARCH/B.tech (architectural engineering),then you can appear for following entrance's:-

AIEEE: dates for registration has reached there deadlines,the last date for availability of form was 31.12.2009,so you can appear for it next time.

IIT-JEE: you have to appear for both iit-jee and an architecture amptitude test both conducted by IIT.

NATA:various institute offers admission on the basis of NATA scores,if you have appearing for state engineering entrance the for persuing B.ARCH/B.tech (architectural) you have required to crack NATA.Online application will be avaiable from 15.02.2010 from its official website-http://www.nata.in

prasadh india's top colleges are under aieee b.arch course but the last date has crossed to fill the form so if you want to join architecture fill cet in that b.arch is also avialable

prasadh aieee has got most of the top colleges for b.arch so fill this form but now the last date has crossed so try for cet this also have few seats or orissa jee

•The candidate must have cleared their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
•The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in the final examinations.
•The candidates currently in their 10+2 standard and would be giving their 2009 final examinations are also eligible to apply

you can sit for aieee exam,then after you can take the admission.

if you have filled the aieee form them there is option for B.arch you can select that and appear for exam.try to score under 2000 rank and if you ranked well then you can do architecture.

you can appear AIEEE, IIT-JEE and NATA exams to get admission
in b.tech in architecture. So, that you will get good colleges like

Entrance Exams For Architectural Colleges

For getting into architecture..it would be ideal for you to give the entrance exam of B.Arch through AIEEE..

The cost of the form for the candidates who apply for both B.Arch and B.Tech is Rs 300/- and for SC/ST its Rs 150/-

The exam will be on 29th April,2012

9:30 am - 12:30 am for B.Tech

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm for B.Arch and B.Planning

You can obtain the forms from your nearest Syndicate Bank Branch or from your nearby book depots..

If you clear the B.Arch exam..you will be eligible for almost all the government colleges in India which provide undergraduate courses in Architecture..
